DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLING YOUR MOODTHEME Written by Joya (http://potthead.livejournal.com) 1.) After unzipping, upload all image files somewhere that will allow hotlinking. Make sure all files are uploaded into the same file/directory. 2.) Login at LiveJournal.com and go to your Mood Themes Editor (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/moodthemes.bml). 3.) Click 'Create a New Theme' and name it anything you want. 4.) You will be taken to a new page, but once you get there, click the 'Back' button. Refresh the page if you don't see the link to your newly created theme. Hover your mouse over the link, and you should see something like this on your status bar: http://www.livejournal.com/moodlist.b ml?moodtheme=FIVE_DIGIT_NUMBER&ownerid=YOUR_USER_ID If you haven't set your Internet browser to have a status bar, just 'copy shortcut' and paste it somewhere you can read the URL. Please take note of the FIVE_DIGIT_NUMBER (you'll need it in a minute, so write it down somewhere). 5.) Open upcode.txt (included in this zip file that you've just downloaded) in NotePad. 6.) Hold down Ctrl+H to get the Find/Replace option to pop up. --- Replace ***** with that FIVE_DIGIT_NUMBER from step 4 --- Replace http://www.yourserver.com/ with the place that you upload those images (include subfolders) -----EXAMPLE: If the url to your picture is http://yourserver.com/livejournal/moodtheme/happy.jpg http://yourserver.com/livejournal/moodtheme/ is what you need to replace http://www.yourserver.com/ with --- Replace "width" with the width of your moodtheme picture. In this case it's 90. --- Replace "height" with the height of your moodtheme picture. In this case it's 50. 7.) Go to the Admin Console (http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/), copy everything in the NotePad file from step 6, and paste it into the 'Enter Commands' box. 8.) Click 'execute', and wait a bit. If you get 'tcp_error', try the last two steps again (the server probably just hiccoughed). 9.) Now go to the Mood Themes Editor (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/moodthemes.bml) again and click the 'USE' button next to your brand new moodtheme, and there you go! Custom moodtheme with sexy boys. Yum. :) 10.) CREDIT! CREDIT! CREDIT! I'm sending a frickin' WENDIGO after you if you don't credit me. Credit me in your userinfo, and if you want, when you name your moodtheme, name it something like "Supernatural moodtheme made by potthead" so that you don't forget who made it. Because being chased by a Wendigo? Is probably not too awesome. ;)
